7 Wonders Hostel Upper Dickson has been welcoming travellers since 2019 and is recognised as one of Singapore’s popular backpacker hostels, both before and after the pandemic. The hostel is SG Clean certified and is designed to offer a simple yet comfortable stay for solo travellers, couples, groups, and families, providing budget-friendly accommodation without compromising on convenience.

Our hostel occupies an old heritage shophouse, which gives the property its unique character but also comes with limited space and the natural wear-and-tear associated with an older heritage building. Guests are kindly advised that the facilities and interiors may show some signs of age. While we maintain and service the property regularly, certain structural and space limitations are part of the nature of the premises and cannot be fully altered due to the heritage building structure. Complimentary WiFi is available throughout the property, androoms feature windows providing natural light. Please note that there is no lift access within the property.

Prime Central Location:
Centrally located in the vibrant Little India district, part of Singapore’s City Centre, the hostel is easily accessible via public transport. It is within walking distance of three MRT stations: Little India (North East Line), Jalan Besar (Downtown Line), and Rochor (Downtown Line), allowing guests to conveniently explore the city.

A bus stop at Jalan Besar Station Exit A is approximately a 5-minute walk from the hostel.

For shopping and dining, guests can reach Mustafa Centre (open 24 hours) and City Square Mall within approximately 8–12 minutes on foot. The surrounding area offers a wide variety of food options, including Indian vegetarian cuisine, halal eateries, coffee shops, and Tekka Market, one of Singapore’s largest and most popular hawker centres.

Cultural districts such as Bugis and Kampong Glam are also easily accessible on foot.

Convenient Airport Access:
Travelling to and from Singapore Changi Airport is convenient, with an estimated journey time of approximately 40 minutes by MRT or 20–30 minutes by Grab or private shuttle, depending on traffic conditions.

The hostel features fully air-conditioned rooms with complimentary WiFi, with a choice of shared or ensuite bathrooms.

Important Property Information

As an older heritage shophouse, the property has inherent space and structural limitations. Some areas, fixtures, fittings, and finishes may reflect the age and wear-and-tear nature of the building. We carry out regular housekeeping, maintenance, and servicing to keep the property comfortable and operational; however, guests who prefer modern, newly renovated facilities may wish to take thisconsideration before booking.

Please note that there is no lift access, and guests may need to use the stairs to access their rooms.

Child Policy:
Children under 12 years old are not permitted in mixed shared rooms.

For family rooms, additional children or adults exceeding the maximum room capacity will incur extra charges. Due to the limited space within the property, extra mattresses cannot be provided.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 11:30.

The property is located near Little India MRT Station. Guests can locate the hostel by taking Exit E from the station and walk towards Kerbau Road. Please note that credit card payments will be charged under the name "7 Wonders Hostel @ Upper Dickson". The hostel daily operating hours will be from 07:00 to 23:00.
